A Day Out

If you are wondering what a day out with Bunnie would be like, it goes something like this.



First of all, 2 words- Primrose Retreat! It's nestled in Spanish Fork and it has the best food ever. Really, the chef brought us the best tomato basil soup I have ever had in my life! We drank Italian ice and ate sandwiches. Then we topped lunch off with gelato!! Does it get any better than that?!

Next, we stopped so Bunnie could chat with our old neighbors. Good Times!

After Bunnie found out that her daughter was NOT having her baby right then, we made our way over the the hospital. A while ago, Bunnie's daughter had breast cancer. So for young women's we made cute hats for the women going through chemo therapy. We finally delivered them and the ladies there loved them!!

I had such a great time with Bunnie and we will do it again very soon!!

Almost Perfect

Today I am the absolute happiest I have been in a long time! Yesterday I had such a great day. It really was just about perfect.
The morning was not the best so i'll just skip that part.
But I got home, showered and got ready and Blake was still not home from his job interview. That meant that the tv was mine!!
So I got to watch some Dr. Phil.
Then Derick invited me to watch Dr. Phil at his house! So I went over and spent the day with him. I really had so much fun!!
We watched tv, ate popcorn, and had an air hockey tournament that we tied in. The day at Derick's ended with the new episode of The Office.
When I got home, my mom was blabbing away with my grandma.
That is when I heard 3 items of the best news ever!
I'll start with the smallest.
1. Blake got a job!! That means he'll be out of the house and that is a good thing for everyone.
2. The best dentist called and said that they will accept my insurance! I am so happy about this.
3. Bunnie called to tell us the results of her PET scan. She only has 2 specks of cancer left!!!! The doctor said she should only need 1 more round of chemo and then she'll go back in 2 months for another scan!!! She went in for her chemo today and hopefully it will be the last time ever. I am so happy for her! Bunnie is very stubborn so i knew she could get through this.
I am full of gratitude today for the best friends that I have and the miracles that I have seen.

Road Trip!

Monday's friend was cancelled due to my trip to St. George!

About a week ago, I really really wanted to go longboarding so I was like, "Hey! Why not party in St. George?"

So that's exactly what we did.

We left at precisely 7:30 am and arrived at precisely 10:30 am.

We spent the morning exploring the rocks and stuff and then we went to lunch at the famous In and Out Burger. This was not a pleasant experience for me at all. First of all, the place was so crowded that you could not move an inch without bumping into somebody. Then this grandpa got all mad at Mayli for no reason! The grandpa then proceeded to give his table to a guy in his maybe late 20's instead of nice polite young ladies. Whatever Grandpa!

The next thing I know, I'm eating a raw hamburger. So I went and asked for a new one which I got. Too bad it was disgusting!

So we finally got out of there and decided to go longboarding. We found this really nice neighborhood with not too many hills. (Or so we thought.) With in the first 5 minutes we witnessed possibly one of the funniest things of our lives. Arielle heads down this tiny little hill first and all of a sudden she jumped off her board! Her arms were flailing every direction until she face planted the road and skidded for a few feet! Since I was right behind her, I was laughing so hard but got all scared and for some reason i did the exact same thing!! We both layed on the ground for a while until I look up and see Mayli do what we just did. We laugh so hard and keep boarding for a while til my arm hurt too bad. Then Mayli put some alcohol on the gigantic road rash on my arm. Yuck.

When all that was over, we went hiking again!! Yay!

We went hiking through these little cracks and then found some wild animal tracks. (Whoa!)

The rocks are really cool cuz there are lots of holes to peek through.

When we were done there, we asked a shadow to take our picture.

He just really wanted to be in it too.

We went longboarding again.

After that, we went to a Mongolian BBQ. Our new Asian friend gave us fortune cookies for the road.

Then when we got home, Kallie's car was stuck in the snow.

Mondays

Mondays are a good day for me to think about stuff like yoga and my friends. How well do I know my friends? I like to think that I know them pretty well. So I decided that i will make a survey and I will first answer the questions about them and then I'll ask them the real questions to see how well I do know them.

So today I'll start with who I think was my very first friend. Rachel and I were forced into being friends and wearing matching clothes when i was just the tender age of 4 months old.

See, Rachel is my Uncle's daughter so that makes her my cousin. Rachel is not only my cousin but she is one of my very best friends! I like having her as a cousin because then I'm not so bored on the holidays.
